When in Rome

When I think of Ancient Greece and Rome, I think of white marble sculptures: the arm-less Venus de Milo, the headless Winged Victory they keep in the Louvre, and all those other epic gods missing appendages. 

But historians have discovered some pretty surprising things about the classic marble statues we’re familiar with.
